Sadly the current news is that due to Coronavirus the railway is currently dormant. However, we are using the free time to carry out some upgrade works, Our charity for this year is being held over until 2021, and all BHR2 outings with our portable railway are not possible. It remains to be seen if we will be able to operate in any way in 2020, but the news from the Government makes it seem unlikely. We'll let you know here when we're able to do anything.
While the Government is allowing outdoor venues to open, the required 2m separation is almost impossible to achieve on a miniature railway!
With the Santa Special now complete, the railway moves into its winter closure period. However, far from being dormant, this is when maintenance is carried out on the railway. We hope, this winter to make progress on the Museum Line.
